Shadow Run offers three beautifully landscaped play areas designed for safety and recreation for our children. The homeowners association offers a host of programs year around for the neighborhood to come together and socialize. Some of the many past activities included the annual Easter Egg hunt, annual Spring Neighborhood Garage Sale in May, and the Halloween Boo. There are also a couple of ladies Bunko groups that meet monthly in the neighborhood.
Shadow Run residents enjoy multiple walking access points to Kennewick’s Horse Heaven Park. Horse Heaven has tennis and basketball courts, walking/bicycle trails, kids climbing/sliding play area, softball and soccer/football fields, a covered picnic area and restrooms.
Shadow Run is also a neighbor to the Canyon Lakes Golf Course – one of Washington’s premier courses. The local community offers the outdoor lover a variety of engaging adventures. The Columbia, Snake and Yakima Rivers provide water sports and fishing year round. Mountain bikers will appreciate some of the best advance riding right around the corner.
